PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and safe antimicrobial resin molded item and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The antimicrobial resin molded item comprises a porous resin molded item impregnated with a compound represented by general formula (1) as an effective ingredient. In the formula, R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>4</SB>are the same or different and are each a 1-4C linear or branched alkylene group; R<SB>2</SB>and R<SB>5</SB>are each a hydrogen atom, the same or different halogen atoms, a lower alkyl group or a lower alkoxy group; R<SB>3</SB>is a 2-12C linear or branched alkylene group; R<SB>6</SB>is a 1-18C linear or branched alkyl group; and Z is a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, an iodine atom or an OSO<SB>2</SB>R<SB>7</SB>group (wherein, R<SB>7</SB>is a lower alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group).
