<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the hydrogen permeability of a hydrogen-permeable membrane by reducing the thickness of an oxidized layer in the surface of the hydrogen-permeable membrane or in the interface of the hydrogen-permeable membrane and a metal coating membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen-permeable membrane selectively permeates hydrogen, includes a metal layer, wherein the theoretical hydrogen permeability defined by the diffusion coefficient of hydrogen and the product of the degree of solid solution is equal to the pure Pd or higher, and forms the hydrogen-permeable membrane having the thickness of a surface oxidized layer of at least one side of two surfaces of the hydrogen-permeable membrane is 100 nm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
