PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite operation type input device capable of accurately and easily operating an operating member. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a rotary electric mechanism with a rotating plate 7 and including a slider 9 and a conductive pattern 10 outputting electric signals accompanying rotation of the rotating plate 7, an operating member 5 rotating the rotating plate 7 and capable of pressing operation by sliding, and a switching mechanism working in accordance with the pressing operation of the operating member 5. The operating member 5 has at least a pair of opposed face parts 5d as well as a guide member, that is, a pair of leaf springs 11 guiding the opposed face parts 5d of the operating member 5 in a pressing direction, and the switching mechanism is structured to work in accordance with the pressing operation pressing the operating member 5 up to a position where the opposed face parts 5d match with the leaf springs 11.
