PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer which is simple in structure, unerringly and quickly discharges dust and bubbles existing in ink supply routes and recording heads without damaging the ink supply routes and the recording heads and without causing ink leakage, and its ink supply method. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer has ink tanks storing inks, a pump which transfers the ink stored in the ink tank to a plurality of recording heads, a plurality of ink channels between the pump and the recording heads, and a control section which opens the ink channels connected to unblocked recording heads at the time when blocked recording heads exist among the recording heads and control the ink channels connected to the blocked recording heads while transferring the inks from the ink tanks by the pump.
