PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary fixture for an imaging apparatus that is advantageous in terms of the stabilization in holding-performance of the imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: In a state where the auxiliary fixture 30 is attached to the bottom surface 1212 of the imaging apparatus 10, the user inserts his/her right palm from beneath into a gap between the right side face 1206 of the imaging apparatus 10 and a grip belt 22. The user's right back comes in contact with the grip belt 22, and the user's right lower palm comes in contact with the surface of a pad member 34, then, the imaging apparatus 10 is caught by the right lower palm. The grip belt 22 comes in contact with the back, the right side face 1206 of the case 12 comes in contact with the fingers and the upper palm, and also, the surface 34A of the pad member 34 comes in contact with the lower palm, that is, the grip belt 22 comes in contact with the back, and two positions, that is, the right side face 1206 of the case 12 and the surface 34A of the pad member 34 come in contact with the palm, consequently, the fixture is advantageous in terms of the stabilization in the holding performance of the imaging apparatus 10.
