PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery composed by drastically reducing internal resistance because there is no technique for reducing the internal resistance to a sufficiently low level, in a battery composed by connecting a power-collecting plate welded to an electrode plate formed by spirally rolling a positive electrode, a separator and a negative electrode to a lid through a lead. SOLUTION: This battery composed by connecting a power-collecting plate welded to an electrode plate formed by spirally rolling a positive electrode, a separator and a negative electrode to a lid through a lead is characterized in that the lead is composed of an annular part and a plurality of strip parts; the annular part is connected to the lid; and the strip part has one end connected to the annular part and the other end connected to the power-collecting plate.
