PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooker using a flame rod for flame detection, facilitating stain removal of the flame rod, hardly causing malfunction and having a long service life of a flame detector. SOLUTION: A recessed part 11b is provided on the back side of a gas burner 10, and the flame rod 13 is fitted into the recessed part 11b. The gas burner 10 is attachable/detachable from an outer pot 1 together with a water tank 2. When placing the water tank 2 inside the outer pot 1, the flame rod 13 and a plate spring type contact 7a are automatically and electrically connected by resilience. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
