The invention relates to a lifting magnet comprising a hollow cylindrical magnet body which comprises a housing (1) that guides the magnetic flux, in which a cylindrical, current-carrying coil (4) is axially mounted, a disk-shaped yoke (7) and a pole having an area (cone 3) which extends in an axial manner and an area (disk 2) which extends from the cone in a radial manner. A cylindrical anchor (6) is mounted and guided in a bearing sleeve (5) and/or a bearing tube inside the magnet body for carrying out an axial lifting movement and the bearing sleeve (5) and/or the bearing tube impinges upon the cone (3) on the end thereof which is oriented away from the yoke disk (7) and totally or partially impinges upon the yoke disk (7) on the other end thereof. The invention is characterised in that the yoke disk (7) is oriented axially on the bearing sleeve (5) and/or on the bearing tube and is connected radially to the flat surfaces (22) of the housing (1). The invention also relates to a method for producing the magnets.
