PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place a rewrite card erasure part in test operation irrelevantly to the data contents of a rewrite card by adding a test mode function for erasing characters printed on the rewrite card without judging whether or not the rewrite card can be recovered. SOLUTION: This machine is equipped with a means which erases the characters printed on the card without judging whether or not the rewrite card can be recovered. Namely, a test mode (S16) is added and in this test mode (S16), a taking-in process for the rewrite card is performed (S13); and the rewrite card is conveyed by a conveyance part to an erasure part, which erases the print of the rewrite card (S14). In modes other than the test mode, it is judged whether or not the rewrite card can be recovered as usual (S12) and the operation thereafter is the same as before. |
