A method for processing the helical involute gear whose shaft is crosswisely engaged with a helical gear is provided to improve the contact ratio and the contact area thereof. In a method for processing the helical involute gear(100) whose shaft is crosswisely engaged with a helical gear(200), the tooth is formed at the circumferential contact surface and inclined at regular intervals around a gear shaft. The diameter of a pitch circle is decreased from the both outer surfaces of the gear toward the center portion of the thickness thereof.
