<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a spacer from dropping off freely when a disk brake is attaching to a vehicle and to improve operability at the time of attaching it. <P>SOLUTION: A support part 12 inserted between respective friction pads 5, 6 and a securing part 15 securable at respective arm parts 1A of an attaching member 1 are provided for the spacer 11. From assembling the brake to attaching it to the vehicle, a clearance in a shaft direction is secured between the respective friction pads 5, 6 by mounting the spacer 11. In an operation of attaching the brake to the vehicle, when the support part 12 of the space 11 is pushed out from between the respective friction pads 5, 6 by a disk D, the securing part 15 is secured with the respective arm parts 1A of the attaching member 1 and thus the spacer 11 is prevented from dropping off freely. Hence, it is possible to recover the spacer 11 efficiently as the dropped spacer 11 is not scattered in a peripheral area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
