PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption heat pump device which has a comparatively small capacity, is built in cogeneration or the like to obtain high temperature hot water or vapor by the effective use of low quality exhaust heat, is small-sized with a small installation area, and is low in cost. SOLUTION: The absorption heat pump device comprises an absorber A, an evaporator E, a regenerator G and a condenser C. A concentrated solution in the regenerator G is led into the absorber A, absorbs refrigerant vapor from the evaporator E to generate heat by absorption, and heats a heated medium passing through high temperature water piping 14. A dilute solution is led into the regenerator G, heated with hot water in heat source hot water piping 18 in the regenerator G to generate refrigerant vapor to become a concentrated solution. The refrigerant vapor is led to the condenser C, condensed with cooling water in cooling water piping 20 to become a liquid refrigerant which is led into the evaporator E, heated with hot water in heat source hot water piping 16, and evaporated to become refrigerant vapor. The absorber A, evaporator E, regenerator G and condenser C are all enclosed in a single can body 12 of square cross section. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
