PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bristle material for a washing brush, which removes dirt on the surface of an object to be washed to its details and which provides high washing performance even when pressurizing of the washing brush is low, and to provide a washing brush using the bristle material. SOLUTION: The bristle material for the washing brush is composed of a core/sheath composite type monofilament where a sheath is made of a thermoplastic elastomer resin and a core is made of a thermoplastic resin different from the sheath.
