<p>The frame (2) has support units (8) for supporting a cover on a vehicle seat. The frame is made of a filament or tube, where the filament or tube is made of a metal. The support units are made of plastic, where the support units are extruded directly on the filament or tube of the frame. The support units are connected with the filament or tube by clamp, detent or glue. The support units exhibit retainers for the cover and for fastening the vehicle seat, where the support units are formed as multipart. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a frame for supporting a cover on a vehicle seat.</p> |
