摘要 A method for prevention of turbulence in the metal fusion above the discharge nozzle in case of change of the level of metal in the intermediate metallurgical ladle, includes discharge of metal from the basic ladle into intermediate ladle with subsequent discharge through its exhaust container into the crystallizer and inhibition of vortex generation. The beginning of supply of metal into the crystallizer is determined by its level in the distribution chamber with discharge from the basic ladle into the intermediate ladle within the range of Hpk=1.1-1.25Hkp. At Hpk.?Hkp the inhibition of vortex generation is carried out in the area located around the discharge nozzle and equal to 0.20-0.25 Dpr. and with the height of 0.80-1.0Hkp, where Hkp - critical level of fusion in the intermediate metallurgical ladle, at which appears the phenomenon of vortex formation; Dpr. - reduced diameter of intermediate ladle.
