PURPOSE: A mobile service system and method for providing a callback message is provided so that a user can directly listen to the detailed contents of a received message by only pushing the SEND button. CONSTITUTION: A mobile service system for providing a callback message is comprised of a VMS(Voice Mailing System,20), an MSC(Mobile Switching Center,30), an SMSC(Short Message Service Center,40), and a base station(50). The VMS(20), if an information message arrives from a subscriber, stores it and outputs a control signal to announce that the information message has been received. The MSC(30) transfers the control signal of the VMS(20) to an associated location and connects an information signal to an associated location. The SMSC(40) creates a callback number to directly listen to the information message together with a message to announce that the information message has arrived according to the control signal transferred from the MSC(30), and transmits them to a relevant subscriber's mobile phone(10). The base station(50) converts the data transmitted from the SMSC(40) into an RF signal and transmits it to the mobile phone(10). |
