<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allocate selected images to printing frames of a template almost almost uniformly and in an orderly manner without generating any extra number. <P>SOLUTION: In this control method, a quotient obtained by dividing the number of printing frames by the number N of the selected images, is established as an allocation number P(i) to be allocated to each image. In case there is any extra number to the allocation number P(i) as a result of calculation, the allocation number P(i) is increased by increments while increasing a counter C1 by the extra number of increments. Thus the allocation number P(C1) is increased by incremented (steps S120 to S160) by the value of 1 by the extra number in the order of the selected images. Further, the printing frames are sequentially allocated (steps S170 to S190) to the selected images by the allocation number P(C1) in the order of the values of a counter C2 while the counter C2 is increased by increments. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
