摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a cylindrical vibration isolator in which a spring ratio in two directions at right angle to the axis is extremely large and which can minimize the degree of elliptic shape of an outer tubular metal part after drawing. SOLUTION: A rubber vulcanized molding step is performed to mold a rubber vulcanized molded body formed of a spindle member 1, the outer tubular metal 2, an intermediate plate 33, and a rubber elastic body 3 which are integrated with each other. Next, the bending step is performed to form a bent part 23 projecting to the radial inner side of the outer tube metal 2 by a length equal to or longer than the plate thickness thereof by bending at least one end of the outer tube metal 2 of the rubber vulcanized molded body along all the peripheral part. The drawing step is performed to add a preliminary compression to the rubber elastic body 3 by applying drawing to the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical body part 22 to reduce the diameter thereof.
