PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt unit capable of effectively maintaining cleaning on an endless belt for a long period, and an image forming apparatus having the same. SOLUTION: The belt unit that the image forming apparatus includes has an endless belt 22 and a cleaning blade 24 which abuts against the endless belt 22 to remove sticking matter on the endless belt.
