PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black and white heat developable photosensitive material having high sensitivity, excellent image tone and further excellent storage stability. SOLUTION: The black and white heat developable photosensitive material has a first image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt and a reducing agent for silver ions on at least one surface of a support, wherein the black and white heat developable photosensitive material has a second image forming layer containing a coupler, and at least one of the first image forming layer and the second image forming layer contains a color developing agent.
