<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water heater capable of controlling temperature rise of a water purifier, with a compact constitution in which the water purifier and a hot water storage tank are stored in the same housing. <P>SOLUTION: This electric water heater comprises the water purifier, a first flow channel for introducing raw water to the water purifier, the hot water storage tank having a fluid inlet portion and a fluid outlet portion, a second flow channel for introducing the water purified by the water purifier to the fluid inlet portion of the hot water storage tank, a first heating device for heating the purified water flowing into the hot water storage tank from the fluid inlet portion, a water spouting means connected with the fluid outlet portion and spouting the heated purified water in the hot water storage tank, the housing receiving the water purifier and the hot water storage tank, a heat insulating material disposed on at least a part opposed to the water purifier in the hot water storage tank, and a cooling means for cooling at least either a gas around the water purifier or the water purifier in the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
