A bat guano collection device for suspension under a bat roosting site is disclosed. The bat guano collection device consists of a frame of members spaced to permit the passage of water through the frame. The frame has an open upper portion and a lower central portion. A water permeable sheet material supported by the frame members provides an interior surface that is angled downwardly and inwardly from the open upper portion and towards the lower central portion of the frame. An opening is located in the central lower portion of the frame along with a corresponding portion of the water permeable sheet material to permit the outflow of bat guano from the device. The frame members and the water permeable sheet material are configured so that as the bat guano falls onto the interior surface, it is directed under gravity through the opening.
