METHOD FOR PRODUCING EMULSION-TYPE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an emulsion-type adhesive composition having high nonvolatile content of emulsion and excellent standing stability, adhesiveness (especially to polyolefins) and retention (especially at high temperature and under hot humid condition) of emulsion. SOLUTION: The emulsion-type adhesive composition is produced by emulsifying (C) an oil-soluble component containing (A) an ethylenic unsaturated monomer composed mainly of (a1) a (meth)acrylic acid ester and (B) a tackifier resin in an aqueous medium using an emulsifier and polymerizing (D) the obtained emulsified liquid in the presence of a polymerization initiator.
