The arrangement consists of elongated rigid structure of a conductive material e.g. metal and/or aluminum. The structure has a contact flange and a contact lug, which extends from the component through the filter to a carrier side electric earth connection in the mounted condition of the structure. A device is provided for holding the flange in the component under designing of electrical contact between structure and component. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) air bag module and (2) method for mounting an electrically conductive, elongated, rigid structure in a vibration damping system.
