PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter capable of maintaining high strength even if the air filter is enlarged. SOLUTION: The air filter 10 comprises a filter frame 20 composed of a lower frame 11, an upper frame 12, a left side frame 13, and a right side frame 14. The left side frame 13 and the right side frame 14 are respectively formed while being divided into a first and a second divided left side frames 24 and 25 and a first and a second divided right side frames 26 and 27. A joining frame 15 bridges over both side frames 13 and 14 and at the same time is held in the respective side frames 13 and 14 by being sandwiched between the first and the second divided left side frames 24 and 25 and the first and the second divided right side frames 26 and 27.
