An over-sampling method of an HDDS(Holographic Digital Data Storage) system is provided to increase the entire recording capacity by recording/reproducing more data in a holographic optical storing device. When an image stored in an HDDS is reproduced, 9 reproduction images are over-sampled by 16 CCD(Charge Coupled Device) pixels to detect a data image. When the 9 reproduction images are successively numbered, data of No. 0 to 7 are real data. Data of No. 8 are set up as a parity bit capable of detecting whether an error occurs in the data.
