A video communication terminal and a video communication method in the video communication terminal are provided to express dynamically audio data and video data when video communication is performed, thereby improving the satisfaction of video communication. A video communication terminal comprises the followings: a memory unit(106) for storing sound data and image data capable of synthesizing to audio data and video data inputted when video communication is performed; and a control unit(108) for synthesizing sound data or specific image data of pre-stored sound data and image data with current video data and current audio data according to data synthesizing transmission request when video communication is performed and encoding the synthesized data as a video communication data format and transmitting the encoded data.
