A mobile terminal for processing broadcast program information, a data management server, and a method using them are provided to transmit generated position data of players of athletics or a player layout to a mobile terminal by using a digital broadcast network or a mobile communication network. A receiving unit(110) receives an athletics broadcast program and data related to positions of players participating in athletics. A controller(120) outputs a control signal for generating a player layout by using the received position data. A layout generating unit(130) converts the position data into position display data on the player layout and generates a player layout through the position display data by the control signal of the controller. A display unit(140) displays the generated player layout.
