PAPER POST-TREATMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper post-treatment device enhancing alignment property by reducing turbulence of a paper ejected to a paper ejection tray in sorting. SOLUTION: The paper post-treatment device is provided with a stand-by tray for temporarily receiving the paper fed from an image forming device and capable of placing it; a treatment tray for leading the paper placed on the stand-by tray to a post-treatment part; an alignment means for collecting the paper on the treatment tray every predetermined number of sheets in the sorting treatment and aligning them in a direction perpendicular to a paper conveying direction; a paper ejection part for successively ejecting the predetermined number of aligned paper sheets to an ejection port; a paper ejection tray for storing the ejected paper; and a control part for restricting the number of paper sheets fed to the alignment means in the sorting treatment and performing control such that the receivable number (n) of sheets of the stand-by tray and the ejection number of sheets (m) of once ejected from the paper ejection part satisfy n≤m<2n.
