<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure and a mounting method of a connector which can improve the connection reliability between terminals and lands in a surface mounting connector having a plurality of terminals. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the connector 330 for mounting the surface mounting connector 330 having a plurality of terminals 331 on a substrate 310 comprises a plurality of supports 333 which project from a housing 332 toward the substrate 310, and support the connector 330 on the substrate in such a state that the connector 330 may be in contact with the surface of the substrate; and a fixing means 334 which is in contact with a portion of the substrate different from a portion in contact with the supports 333 with a part fixed to the housing 332, and positions and fixes the connector 330 to the substrate 310 together with the supports 333 in contact with the surface of the substrate 310. The terminals 331 are positioned at a predetermined height from the surface of the substrate by the supports 333 and the fixing means 334, and are brought into contact with a bonding material 312 arranged in a molten state on the surfaces of the lands. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
