PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner comprising a pivot member constituted by integrating a pivot portion of a vertical wind direction plate and a support portion disposed over an upper wall and a lower wall of a supply opening, thus the displacement of the pivot portion is prevented, and the vertical wind direction plate can be pivoted without deflection to be smoothly rotated. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprising a blower fan 4 disposed in an air passage connecting a suction opening and a supply opening 2, and the vertical wind direction plate rotatably journaled at the supply opening 2, further comprises the pivot member 11 constituted by integrating the pivot portion 9 of the vertical wind direction plate and the support portion 10 disposed over the upper wall 2a and the lower wall 2b of the supply opening 2.
