PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission in which sliding resistance during shifting is suppressed and deterioration in shifting performance is prevented. SOLUTION: The transmission 1 includes a drive shaft, a clutch hub 3 connected to the drive shaft and having an outer spline 3a, a gear 4 idly fitted on the drive shaft, a gear piece 5 integrally rotating together with the gear 4 and having an outer spline 5a, and a sleeve 6 having an inner spline 6a slidably fitted with the outer spline 3a of the clutch hub 3.
