PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of automatically performing correction suitable for both of a main image and a decorative image when preparing a composite image by composing both the images. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises: a correction control information acquiring means for acquiring information for controlling image correction associated with the decorative image; an image correction processing means for automatically correcting a main image by referring to the main image and the correction control information; and a synthetic image output means for composing a corrected image obtained by the image correction processing means and the decorative image and outputting the composite image.
