DEVELOPMENT OF SEA WATER OR SALTS TREATED-PLASTIC CONTAINERS REGULATING ROOT PRUNING OF PLANTS

Development of a seedling raising tray by coating natural seawater containing deep sea water, its salt and waterborne paint on a conventional seedling raising tray is provided. The seedling raising tray prevents root pruning of plants and provides healthy seedlings. A seedling raising tray is developed by applying coating material containing salt and waterborne paint to the inside surface of a conventional seedling raising tray. The coating material contains: 3 to 10%(w/v) of salt-containing material comprising seawater containing deep sea water or salt extracted from the deep sea water; and waterborne paint.
