The plate has a rear side (2) for mounting and supporting work models and another rear side for arranging the plate in an articulator, where the plate is designed as primary plate (1) and a secondary plate having positioning devices. The positioning devices are designed in the form of elevations (4) and slots, which are provided in section sides. A fixing unit enables detachable fixing of the primary plate at the secondary plate. Uprisings extend from an edge in a direction of a center of the primary plate and have height that remains same.
