PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairdressing composition having excellent set-retentivity of the hair, providing good gloss of the hair and good refreshing feeling of the finish after the use, and having good handleability at coating on the hair. SOLUTION: The hairdressing composition contains at least (A) a microcrystalline wax, (B) a candelilla wax and (C) a vegetable oil and fat having 30-45°C melting point regulated so that when the contents of the components (A), (B) and (C) are (a) mass%, (b) mass% and (c) mass% respectively, (a) may be 1-10 mass%, (b) may be 1-5 mass% and (c) may be 0.5-5 mass%, and [(a)+(b)]/(c) may be 3-7.
