PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and cost required in a system providing sleep information via a communication line. SOLUTION: A signal processing unit (20) receives raw data about physiological information of a sleeping subject from a sleep sensor, extracts sleep information indicating sleeping condition of the subject from the received raw date, and stores extracted sleep data sequentially, for example, at one-minute intervals. A terminal PC (35) transmits the sleep data acquired from the signal processing unit (20) to a central server (30). That is, the sleep data having relatively less information amount obtained from the signal processing unit (20) is transmitted to the central server (30) of the terminal PC (35), instead of the raw data acquired from the sleep sensor. The central server (30) generates a sleep report with a chart of the received sleep data, and transmits the sleep report to the terminal PC (35). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
