APPARATUS FOR REFORMING FUEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

A fuel reforming apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the durability of a catalyst carrier layer under a high temperature ambience, by oxidizing a substrate of stainless steel to form the catalyst carrier layer on a surface of a channel of the substrate. A fuel reforming apparatus(100) comprises a reaction substrate(11) formed of stainless steel, and an adhering part(40) closely formed on a surface of the reaction substrate. The reaction substrate has a channel(11c), through which a predetermined reacting material including fuel flows, on the surface of the reaction substrate. The adhering part forms a passage by the channel of the reacting substrate. The reaction substrate has a carrier layer(11f) of oxide film formed on the channel and a catalyst layer(11e) formed on the carrier layer.
