<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely restrain image forming from being delayed due to the accelerating time of a scanner motor when an image is formed according to the detected operation state of an image forming means in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with: an image forming mechanism 700 having the scanner motor; a printing sequence processing part 600 controlling the operation of the image forming mechanism 700; and a printing data processing part 500 processing image data and outputting the processed data to the printing sequence processing part 600, and also giving an operation instruction to the printing sequence processing part 600. The printing sequence processing part 600 includes: a status information processing part 610 detecting the operation state of the image forming mechanism 700 and transmitting the detected operation state to the printing data processing part 500; and a scanner motor driving part 621 starting the operation of the scanner motor when an operation state to be generated after the operation state detected by the status information processing part 610 is a printing enabled state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
