PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular driving operation assisting device not carrying out acceleration and deceleration contrary to driving intention of a driver. SOLUTION: In the vehicular driving operation assisting device, a risk potential of one's vehicle is calculated on the basis of an allowance between one's vehicle and a forward obstacle, and operation reaction force generated when operating an accelerator pedal is increased as the risk potential is high. As the risk potential is high, driving force generated in one's vehicle is lowered, and braking force is increased. When carrying out braking/driving force control responding to the risk potential, an operation schedule of braking/driving force control is changed such that acceleration suppression is also allowed when there is acceleration intention, engine braking is also allowed when there is constant intention, gradual deceleration control is also allowed when there is engine braking intention, deceleration control is also allowed when there is gradual deceleration intention, and an adding process of brake pedal operation of the driver and braking control is also allowed when there is deceleration intention.
