PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce uneven wear in a pneumatic tire 11 of a block type having tread rubber 16 composed of a cap rubber layer 19 and a base rubber layer 20. SOLUTION: When a suppression spew 44 is provided between spews 38a, b in the vicinity of the outer edge side of the block 26, a part of a base rubber layer 20 flows to the outside in the radial direction in forming (vulcanizing) the spew 38 and the suppression spew 44, and swollen parts 48, 49 is formed. Since each of the swollen parts 48, 49 is composed of the rubber of the base rubber layer 20 having a high degree of elasticity, rigidity in the vicinity of the outer edge side locally becomes high and the uneven wear such as heel and toe wear or the like is effectively reduced.
