PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map recording medium and a navigation device, capable of easily and correctly setting a facility name (a merging point and a branch point of an interchange (IC)) which is desired by a user, as a via-point, in the IC including two or more merging points or two or more branch points in an up lane or a down lane. SOLUTION: In the map recording medium, when the IC in an expressway includes two or more merging points in an up lane or a down lane, a place of only merging point passed at last in the lane is recorded as a position of the merging point of the lane of the IC, and when the IC in an expressway includes two or more branch points in the up lane or the down lane, a place of only branch point passed at first in the lane is recorded as a position of the branch point of the lane of the IC.
