PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, when opening an inner lid of an electric kettle for supplying or draining water with hot water left in the electric kettle, a user may be injured with flow-out of steam inside the container; and an electric kettle as a conventional art is provided with an inner lid inside the electric kettle for improving it, however, the electric kettle has only a recessed water supply inlet so that even if the pot is inclined for discharging the residual hot water, it is difficult to completely discharge the residual hot water therefrom. SOLUTION: A drain outlet for discharging hot water is provided in the inner lid by notching a part of the circumference of the upper face wall of the inner lid and having a lid using one side of the notch part as a rotary shaft and being opened to the outside.
