[PROBLEMS] To provide a slide member furnished with a protective coating that excels in both of seizure resistance and abrasion resistance. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The slide member is furnished with a protective coating comprising a base material and, sequentially superimposed on a sliding-side surface thereof, a resin interlayer composed of a mixture of low-melting-point alloy, heat transfer filler and heat resistant resin for interlayer and a solid lubricant surface layer composed of a mixture of solid lubricant and heat resistant resin for surface layer. |
