EQUIPMENT PREVENTION OF FLOODS FOR SMALL-RIVER

A flood control system for a valley of a small river is provided to prevent a valley and a river from flooding by cutting off various impurities flowing from the upper reaches of a valley to a river not to be accumulated on the lower reaches of a valley and a river. The flood control system(100) for a valley of a small river comprises a foundation(10) formed on the bottom of a valley across a valley, and an impurity sorting device(20) provided with many water holes(H) and erected on the foundation in the longitudinal direction of the foundation to filter out impurities contained in water flowing along a valley. The impurity sorting device comprises many supports(30) installed on the foundation in a line and composed of many bottom frames(31) arranged at regular intervals along the width direction of a valley and fixed to the foundation by anchors(31a) and a support frames(32) connected to the downstream side of the bottom frame obliquely and fixed by anchors, and an impurity sorters(40) installed to one side of the supports to filter out impurities contained in a valley water discharged to a small river and composed of many vertical frames(41) fixed to the bottom frames and many horizontal frames(42) coupled to the vertical frames in multistage.
