PREPARATION METHOD OF LIQUID CALCIUM HYDROXIDE FOR A STABILIZER OF WATER-QUAILITY

A method for preparing liquid calcium hydroxide is provided to produce liquid calcium hydroxide having high specific surface area and high whiteness and purity to be used as a water-quality stabilizer in a simple and economic way. A method includes mixing unslaked lime and water in a weight ratio of 1:3.5 to 1:5, followed by stirring for 20 to 30 minutes to form calcium hydroxide in the slurry state, passing the calcium hydroxide in the slurry state through a first screen(6) to remove impurities, leaving the calcium hydroxide at 40 to 50 deg.C for 20 to 40 minutes, passing the calcium hydroxide through a second screen(10) to remove impurities, washing the calcium hydroxide in the slurry state and adjusting the concentration of the calcium hydroxide to 10 to 25 wt%. The first screen has a size of 10 to 18 mesh and the second screen includes an upper screen having a size of 200 to 400 mesh and a lower screen having a size of 10 to 18 mesh to support the upper screen.
