PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer rapidly and sufficiently curing the ink drops hit on a print media surface with the ultraviolet-ray irradiated from an ultraviolet-ray irradiation means, without being influenced by a polymerization inhibitor. SOLUTION: A gas supplying means 70 is used to send gas for eliminating the polymerization inhibitor to the region in the vicinity of the ink drop hitting position on the surface of the print media 10 to be irradiated with the ultraviolet-ray. Thereby, the gas eliminates the polymerization inhibitor of the ultraviolet-curable ink drops 40 hit on the surface of the print media 10, which exists in the vicinity of the ink drop hitting position on the surface of the print media 10.
