PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a fiber product, which is capable of obtaining the fiber product having form stability, deodorant property and antibacterial property. SOLUTION: This method for processing the fibrous product comprises a first treating process of immersing a cloth in a first liquid containing a glyoxal-based resin, a catalyst, an inorganic or organic deodorant and a binder resin, squeezing the cloth and drying, and a second treating process of immersing the cloth processed by the first treating process into a second treating liquid containing a quaternary ammonium salt or silver based antibacterial agent, squeezing the cloth and then drying.
