PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cradle device capable of charging a battery for a digital camera with an electricity even at a place where there is no AC power supply. SOLUTION: When the digital camera 2 is mounted to a fitting section fitted to a cradle device 25, a connector 26 and a connecting terminal 27 are connected electrically. A generator 89 is set by a setting button for an operating section 45, and the battery 81 is set by a changeover button. A handle 55 is set at a rotational operating place from a housing place and the handle 55 is rotated. Accordingly, a power is generated by the generator 89, and a charging control unit 85 is supplied with the power. The charging control unit 85 charges the battery 81 with the power from the generator 89. The charging control unit 85 stops a charging when the battery 81 fills with the electricity. Consequently, since the battery 81 is charged with the electricity even at the place where there is no AC power supply, a photographing using a light-increasing stroboscope 41 consuming a large quantity of the power is also enabled for a prolonged time.
