摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction apparatus for calculating a correction value for correcting the error of measurement data regardless of measurement setting conditions such as the performance and gain of an ultrasonic device by using a carotid artery phantom as an index. SOLUTION: The correction apparatus comprises: the carotid artery phantom which is an artificial carotid artery model having a lesion of different internal media thicknesses, plaque sizes and artery diameters or the like; a shape data storage means 22 storing the shape data of the carotid artery phantom; a measurement data acquisition means 23 for acquiring measurement data for which the carotid artery phantom is measured as an image by a medical ultrasonic device; a shape data extraction means 24 for extracting the shape data of the carotid artery phantom of the lesion corresponding to the measurement data acquired by the measurement data acquisition means 23 from the shape data storage means 22 as partial shape data; and a correction value calculation means 25 for calculating the correction value for the measurement data on the basis of the extracted partial shape data.
